Making you proud!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! As I type this I can hear a boy outside the Common Room, talking to his Mom. With so few weeks left, it is nice to know that everyone will be reunited with their families soon. In the meantime, we are doing our best to make all Moms, Aunts, Grandmothers and caregivers proud!

The grade 8s did very well at the recent Rugby Jamboree that SMUS hosted. The team has a large number of boarders and Jero, Emilio, Abdul and Samer all played very well, with strength and speed. They made it to the finals and fell only to a last minute, unlucky  breakaway by the opposition.

Timmy and Fo (a Timmis sister) both had their art featured in the exclusive Open Door to Art youth exhibit. Timmy’s piece connected to architecture and its similarity to the human body where both consist of a frame and an outer facade. Friday was the well-attended opening. The show runs until May 24.

The Grade 9s have all returned from the outtrips. We do not have photographs just yet (stay tuned) since the boys are busy unpacking, cleaning up and resting. The weather was spectacular and so there were a lot of tanned, tired and happy faces returning to Bolton House today.
