The boys are back in Bolton and in great spirits. Classes started well and boys are overcoming jet lag. Many traveled all over the world and a few boys even met up with some other boarders, halfway across the globe. The weather is turning warmer for now. Here is a nice view of Bolton from the school’s Bell Tower.
Housegames kicked off with basketball and a series of special challenges. The boys played with skill and determination and these great sportsmen had a lot of fun.
Hassan (pictured doing the funny dance in the last picture), went straight from housegames to volunteer at the BC Muslim Association’s major fundraising dinner for Syrian Refugees. He set up seating and served food and the event raised over $90,000 that will go directly to sponsoring three families who are moving to Victoria. Good work Hassan!
Meanwhile, the rest of us went to chapel and heard an excellent presentation on how deep relationships with other people most positively effects your life. One major highlight was Laurent’s amazing and complex guitar performance in chapel.
