And the Head Boy is …….

It has been a fantastic two weeks for the Bolton boys. With the recent completion of AP exams there has been more of a chance to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having. Last night there was a post AP celebration with music, dancing, food and lawn games to end what was a very stressful time for many.

The senior boys 1st XV rugby squad brought home the Howard Russell Cup this week defeating Oak Bay 22-0. It was a sweet victory.

The senior school took to the poles and cast votes for the 2016-2017 Head Boy and Head Girl positions. Our very own Christian Okiring and Philippe Welter delivered fantastic speeches in front of the entire student body in hopes of obtaining the highest leadership position at the school. In the end, Christian emerged from the 10 other students to secure the position of Head Boy for the next school year. He was humbled by the support and praise he received after the decision was announced and as a house, we are very proud to have a Bolton penguin leading the school.

The grade 8s and 9s had a great time bouncing around at Extreme Air Trampoline Park in Vancouver this weekend. To top off an exciting day the group was able to see a pod of Orca whales on the ferry ride back to Victoria.

The grade 9s had their long awaited out-trips last week. They traveled to a variety of destinations and took part in several different outdoor activities. The sea kayaking trip was so much of an adventure that they had to come home a day early due to high winds.
