Back in the swing of things

After the first full week back at school, the boys of Bolton House are getting back into the swing of things. The energy in the house is well balanced and new friendships seem to be forming every day.

Sunday morning saw the entire boarding community participating in the annual Terry Fox Run along beautiful Dallas Road.  This great events raises funds and awareness for cancer research.  All the boys were up early and ran hard in honour of this iconic Canadian.

There were a wide range of Saturday activities offered this weekend: Banana bread baking, exploring downtown, broom pulling on Mt Tolmie and whale watching. The whale watching group was lucky enough to see several killer whales.

The senior boys A and B soccer teams were out in full force as SMUS hosted the annual ISA Tournament. The A team battled hard and won third place. Jom scored the game winning goal to help the team seal a 3-1 victory. Matthias and Adrian were strong on defense.
