Experiential Week

It has been an exciting week in Bolton and we have not let the rain and storms slow us down.

The second house games of the year took place this past weekend.  The rain held off for the day and the guys were excited to get out on the soccer field. Soccer games were held at the senior and junior level, as well as in the gym.  Other competitive events included; a photo scavenger hunt and an origami competition. Overall Bolton was strong and we have taken the lead in the standings to protect the house cup.

On Sunday, the boys were in charge of organizing a community dinner for the entire boarding community. The chosen theme was “Games Night” and many of the guys, alongside Mr. Daum, worked hard to plan and make decorations for the event. The menu included a deliciously Canadian poutine bar and the guests were entertained with trivia and board games.

This past week the Grade 9 and 10 students had an exciting day of experiential learning. There were many options available to the students including coffee roasting, cooking classes, motocross racing, RC plane building, interior design, 3D modelling, or self defense just to name a few. *More photos to come next week.
