A Wet, But Fun Week

Another wet week in Victoria has seen the SMUS playing fields closed indefinitely as we go into our third week of rain falling every day.  Despite the damp weather, the Bolton Boys have found plenty of ways to stay upbeat, engaged and active.  Next week is a short one with the Family Day long weekend fast approaching, and we wish all the boys a restful and fun four days.

Preparations for the musical performance continued with Will, Joel, Matthias, Garry and Laurent up early on Saturday morning for one of their many rehearsals.  Alan also jumped in to help with set painting.

Daily routines continued with Hemmesh and Frank joining the weekly Middle School chapel on Tuesday, and Mikhail working hard during his PE class.

Logan participated in the Commonwealth Conference hosted by SMUS and with delegates from many schools.  Here he is with the coordinator Mr. Lynch practicing his very best diplomatic hand shake!

Still others just took time hang out and relax with their friends in the foyer and common room.

Saturday night was an exciting one with our annual Bolton-Timmis skate party at the local arena.  Everyone from former figure skaters and hockey players to skaters who weren’t quite sure how to tie up skates participated, and a very fun time was had by all.
